Parks and Recreation
Explore Edisto is enthusiastic about exploring our beautiful island. There is no better way to do this than through our many parks and boat landings. Edisto Beach State Park provides endless opportunities for adventure, including beach front camping, boat ramp, and miles of trails to enjoy the vast ecological system of Edisto. In addition to the state park, the Town of Edisto Beach operates three parks for the public to enjoy.
Jungle Road Park
Bay Creek Park
Burley L. Lyons Park
There are four public boat landings on Edisto allowing you to access all sides of the island. Well-kept and clean, with ample parking, these boat landings make launching your boat a breeze. Enjoy the observation deck at the Steamboat Landing. Bald Eagles and dolphins are regularly spotted there. Some of the landings do require a fee so make sure to check before you go.
